On 18th July, we marked a special moment together with long-time colleagues, partners, and both past and present team members:
25 years of e3.
In warm summer weather, with good food and a laid-back atmosphere on Lake Zurich, we shared stories, memories – and a quiet pride in everything we’ve built together.
Pascale Egloff (Chairwoman) and Thomas Fürling (CEO)
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made the evening special – and to all those who have shaped and supported e3 over the past 25 years.
One thing is clear after all these years: our work is far from done. In 2025, secure digital transformation is more relevant, more complex – and more critical – than ever before.
That’s why we’re looking ahead: with fresh ideas, proven expertise, and a clear commitment to building a secure digital future for your organisation – together.

In the global race for AI dominance, the United States is accelerating its lead under the banner of "Winning the AI Race." In plain terms: deregulate, invest, dominate.
But what does this mean for Swiss companies operating under entirely different regulatory and ethical frameworks?
Integrating AI into business processes doesn’t just drive efficiency – it also creates new, hard-to-control attack surfaces: deepfakes, AI-generated malware, and data leakage through large language models. Traditional security models are no longer enough.
In the latest issue of Netzwoche (09/25), Thomas Fürling explains why the future of AI won’t reward speed, but security – and which concrete steps Swiss companies should take now to stay protected.
The use of cloud technology enables companies to work more efficiently, innovate faster, and scale with greater flexibility. Today, it is a key pillar of modern business strategy, offering cost-effective ways to respond to dynamic market demands.
But these advantages also come with risks – especially when it comes to security.
Cloud providers offer powerful security solutions, but the responsibility for data protection still lies with the company itself: through access controls, encryption, and continuous monitoring.
The key question is:
With a proactive security approach – from encryption and access control to continuous monitoring – the cloud becomes a true competitive advantage.
The days of simplistic phishing emails are over. Today, cybercriminals are using AI-generated voices that sound uncannily real – impersonating individuals from within a company's own professional network. Over the phone, they apply direct pressure and push for quick decisions. And the threat is evolving fast.
In April 2025, the Swiss National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) reported a continuing wave of so-called CEO fraud attacks. In several Swiss municipal administrations, employees received urgent phone calls from individuals posing as local government officials.
The attackers’ goal: to trigger payments or obtain gift cards. The voice sounded convincing. The story seemed credible. The tactic? Vishing – short for voice phishing.
Technology isn’t sufficient on its own – human awareness is essential.
Resilience against vishing starts with people – people who are prepared, aware, and ready to question what doesn’t feel right.
That’s why we developed custom awareness videos for a client – tailored to real-world scenarios, psychological attack methods, and the human factor that no machine can replace.
Want to prepare your employees for deepfakes and emerging attack tactics?
Let’s talk – we’ll design a training concept that makes a difference.
The it-sa is the leading meeting point for the IT security community - and we'll be there.
From 7th to 9th October, you will find us together with Arrow in Hall 7A, Stand 7A-512.
Take the opportunity for a personal exchange on today’s key cybersecurity challenges, innovative solutions, and real-world use cases. Whether you have questions about secure AI usage, cloud security, or data loss prevention – our experts will be on site and ready to help.
