This year on July 18, e3 AG is celebrating its 25th birthday! Since 2000, we have been committed to high-quality IT security - a foundation for successful digital transformation. Current global developments show that Cybersecurity is more important than ever to make the digital transformation secure and future-proof.

Cybercrime is becoming increasingly sophisticated - AI-based attacks, insider threats and complex multi-cloud structures present companies with huge challenges when it comes to protecting their data. The number of partners and service providers who potentially have access to your data is also constantly growing. Do you really know who has access to your data? In other words: Who do you trust blindly with your data? We help you to rethink digital security.

Only Zero Trust Data Security is a future-proof concept for protecting your sensitive data.

Zero Trust Data:
Your data, your key, your control

The days when a secure perimeter was enough are over. Zero Trust Security follows the principle: Never trust, always verify - never trust blindly, but control every access in a targeted manner. While traditional security models rely on network protection, Zero Trust Data Security goes beyond: security lies in the data itself - regardless of location or infrastructure.

Why Zero Trust is crucial for your data

Zero Trust is not a technical standard, but a way of thinking. It calls on companies to identify and protect their most valuable data - not through assumptions, but through:

Protection at the source: Data is encrypted before it leaves your company.

Granular access control: You decide who can access your data, when and how.

Secure encryption: Your data remains protected - even in the cloud or SaaS applications.

Centraya: Zero Trust at data level

Our Centraya solution consistently implements Zero Trust for your sensitive data:

Full control over your data - no matter the cloud provider or IT infrastructure.

Key sovereignty remains with you - no hidden back doors for third parties.

Seamless integration into existing applications - without any loss of performance.

With Centraya you protect your data proactivly against cyber attacks, insider threats and unauthorized access secure, efficient and sustainable.

Rely on Zero Trust Data Security - for uncompromising data security in a digital world.

IT security in hospitals:
Serious safety deficiencies

At the end of January, a report by the National Cybersecurity Test Institute (NTC) revealed serious security flaws in the IT systems of many hospitals. Over 40 moderate to severe security vulnerabilities were discovered in three of the most widely used hospital information systems in Switzerland, including three critical ones. The main problems are weaknesses in the software architecture and inadequate data encryption. Read the report and the eight recommendations of the NTC.

The report shows how digitalization poses major challenges for the healthcare sector - in particular, the security measures in the audited hospital information systems are inadequate.

What dangers are hospitals exposed to?

Failure of critical systems: Ransomware attacks can force hospitals to postpone operations - potentially life-threatening delays are the result

Data loss and blackmail: Stolen health data can be sold - with massive legal and financial consequences.

Manipulation of medical devices:  If cyber criminals gain access to hospital systems, they can manipulate the dosages of medication or ventilators with potentially fatal consequences.

Loss of trust and legal consequences: Data protection violations result in high penalties. In addition, trust in one's own institution also suffers.
