Your Benefit
- High automation level using flexible agents and adaptors reduces costs
- Repeatable regression tests and extensive reusability of defined test cases further reduce financial and personnel costs
- Early release and partial solution tests save time and money
- Quick error detection and quick root cause analysis involving the full process, system and application environment ensure shorter release times (time to market) and lower development costs
- Risks of defective production launches with corresponding follow-up costs are reduced
- Consolidated reporting and consistent historiography ensure full revision capability
- New test requirements cause minimal additional costs (open API)
- Defined confidentiality requirements are observed ("need to know" / "segregation of duty")
Regular test methods and products based on these often cover only a fraction of test objects. Testing is usually done via GUI (man-machine-interface). All additional business process aspects, such as long running transactions, activities triggered by automated processes or low-level infrastructure find, in many cases, no or too little consideration. The inspection thus encloses only the tip of the iceberg. An integrated end-to-end testing involving all dimensions, is still missing in most enterprises.
Based on the cross platform T-GRID framework, the e3 test suite T-GRID AQ provides automation functionalities for end-to-end testing and even includes the backend (applications, databases, interfaces, mainframe etc.). A powerful and consistent automated quality assurance tool inspects T-GRID AQ internal and company wide business processes with equal thoroughness and accuracy.
Missing and insufficient test automation can have various implications for the respective enterprise:
- High testing costs (preparation, manual execution, analysis)
- High expenditure of time and personnel costs with inadequate test environment availability and/ or for troubleshooting
- Significant follow up costs due to production errors that were missed or recognised too late
- Increased risk of faulty business processes after release change
- High costs for test automation (maintenance and in-house developments)
The quickly applicable T-GRID AQ enables inter-divisional tests (frontend to backend) involving all interfaces, applications and systems and in the long term reduces test costs and error rates.
T-GRID AQ is ideally suited for infrastructure testing and low-level objects due to its agent-based approach. Existing test cases and test data can be easily integrated and offer strong investment protection to our customers.
T-GRID AQ integrates seamlessly into other products of T-GRID family.
